Dear Guest,
I am so happy you chose Elegance on Beach for your trip.

I hope you’ll make the most of this cozy home, its amenities, and your opportunity to relax and visit the surrounding area.

I would appreciate it if you took a moment to read these house rules at the beginning of your stay and follow them. If anything is unclear, please contact me so I can explain in further detail to avoid any misunderstandings.

I’ve put a lot of effort into making this Holiday Accommodation into a lovely space. Please treat it with the same respect as you would do your own home. Please read the House Rules carefully.

HOUSE RULES


1. Noise and disturbances

  • Please always keep noise levels to the minimum. Strictly no noise between 22h00 and 9h00. Remember this is a complex of 136 units; we need to always consider other.
  • No parties, no alcohol abuse, no drugs, no smoking of weed, no loud music or no hubbly bubblies.
  • No games (e.g., dominoes) music (including YouTube), loud laughing after 22h0
  • No neighbourly disturbances
  • No music centre permitted
  • When entering or leaving the apartment please do not shout down the passages to one another; always take your neighbours into account
  • Should we get any complaints whilst you are our guest, you will be asked to leave the premises within 2-hours after the complaint has been received. We must enforce these rules due to many ill-behaved guests in the past

2. Parking

  • Please always use the designated undercover parking bay which will be shown to you upon check in
  • No parking on yellow lines or grass
  • Visitors’ parking is exactly that; since you are not a visitor, please use your designated parking bay

3. Security

  • Please lock all doors and security gates and close all windows when leaving the apartment
  • Ensure that upon entering or leaving the premises, the gates are properly closed

4. Water

  • Please use water sparingly

5. Smoking

  • No smoking is allowed in the apartment
  • Smoking is only allowed at the communal “barbeque” or braai area

6. Children

  • Children should always be supervised. No playing or running freely unsupervised in the passages or lifts

7. Pets

  • Strictly no pets allowed

8. Damages and breakages

  • Please report any damages or breakages to the owner – Ben on 0813619691

9. Check-in and check-out

  • Check-in from 15h00 to 20h00 – Should you have a late check-in after 19h00 please enter the passages and apartment as quietly as possible remembering your neighbours could be sleeping. Key handover needs to be arranged well in advance
  • Check-out at 10h00 – Should you have an early check-out before 08h00 please leave as quietly as possible remembering your neighbours could still be sleeping. Key handover needs to be arranged well in advance
  • 10. Windows

    • Please handle blinds and windows with care

    11. Washing

    • When using the laundry facilities on the second floor for washing and drying of clothes, please ensure that you collect your washing on time; if not and your washing has been removed out of the tubs, it will be considered as a complaint
    • Please refrain from hanging any clothes/towels etc. on window rails

    12. Sandy feet

    • Please use shower/water hose on the front lawn, when coming from the beach, before entering the apartment block

    13. Emergencies

    • For any emergence, please call Frans on 0832639744

    14. Refuse removal

    • Wednesdays: Recycling bags can be left outside the apartment door before 08h00 for collection
    • General refuse can be disposed in the chute. However, this should only be small bags and no glass
    • Dustbins are on ground floor – no black bags are to be abandoned anywhere else on the premises

    15. Towels

    • Only beach towels may be used for the beach; no white towels may be used for the beach

    16. Blankets

    • No blankets may be removed from the apartment and may not be used as a picnic blanket or at the braai area

    17. Trolleys

    • Should you use one of the complex trolleys to carry your suitcases or groceries, please return the trolley to the designated areas immediately after use
    Note:
    All your personal possessions are kept on the premises at your own risk.
    Please do not create your own Netflix profile or use any foreign devices.
    Do not fiddle with the gas bottle; please ensure that you use the stove and oven responsibly, any damages will be for your account.
    The gas stove has a glass cover that should be lifted up before use
